Ah ........ my kids were Sooooooo great tonight. We had a wire short out, an effects pedal become possessed, a wardrobe malfuntion ( not what you're thinking ! ), 2 anxiety attacts that forced some lead singers to leave before their solos ..... and STILL - the show WENT ON !

It went on, as scheduled, and hardley missed a beat. Kids filled in for kids, wires were replaced, effects patches figured out on the fly, wardrobes fixed .... it was a thing of INSPIRATION !

Seriously, these kids made me so proud tonight. I featured a dixeland ensemble in our finale with 3 kids on horns, and me and 2 other teachers on clarinet and 2 trombones. It was awesome to hear the horns again. No arranger keyboards tonight, but we did partake of many digital sources. It was great night for the kids AND the audience.

Dave sounds like a fun time pics or mp3 demos?

The Digital Photography Department will make DVD's an a few weeks. They did a 2 camera shoot, and they ALWAYS do great work ! I can't wait to see it. I was the emcee !

If there's ever going to be a Mr. Holland's Opus II (great movie)...UD and cast are all ready and set.

That's been a fav at my house too! I used to LIVE in Holland too !

Fran's right. Holland is a small village about 1/2 hour east of Philadelphia!
Never been to the REAL Holland, but I'd love to go ......wooden shoe (wouldn't you)?
